Child and adolescent health

The Danish Health Authority works to strengthen the health of children from birth to adulthood and provides guidance to parents, health professionals, municipalities and regions.

Health visitors and doctors provide healthcare to infants and toddlers and their families. When children start school, the school health nurse monitors the children's and adolescents' health regularly throughout the child’s school years.
