Healthcare, planning and quality of care
Our overriding mission is to ensure health for all. We focus on equality, quality and coherent patient care and play a central role in the planning of the overall framework for public health-related services and hospitals in Denmark.
The Authority sets the framework and direction within the areas of health and elderly care; develops and supports activities to promote health and prevent, and is responsible for the administration, content and quality of specialist educational programmes for doctors, dentists, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
